Life on Mars -2008 meets 1973

Any thoughts on the new abc version of the show? I never saw the bbc version, but the concept intrigues me.

the BBC version was fantastic - I wouldn't miss an episode when it was on. It kept me intrigued.

I'm not planning on watching it -- what is so intriguing? Give me a reason to watch it.

Not planning on tuning into many of the new shows this fall, too much of what I like is gone after 2 or 3 shows -- the Networks have trained me well not to watch their new shows.

again I haven't seen it....

but the reviews of the British version were pretty good. Also a 'real' (i.e. not fluffy) vintage cop show sounds interesting. Although they are classics... "Starsky and Hutch" and "Charlie's Angels" are a little on the fluffy side. Plus I've always enjoyed the time travel concept (like "Back to the Future" and "Quantum Leap"). I look forward to seeing it, but it's your choice whether to watch or not.
