That's a DA-820Y; 1964 and the first iteration of the new-style of GE control panels, or, as I like to call it, "the beginning of the end". Even the '64 panels had a little more detail to them than what was to come, but the bean-counters won out in just a year. Took them 4 more years to figure out that shining a panel light directly in the eyes of the user wasn't such a good idea and that it should be directed down onto the controls where it would be more useful. I'd like to have that panel; it's unique. Even the fonts they used for the controls were different.

It wasn't just that the control panels were slanted starting in '64. It's that all of the former GE style was missing from the middle of the line models. Even the GEs with the control pod on top corner of the machine from the late 50s had more style than the ugly, unappealing slanted, mostly painted control panels GE used. Our dryer was from about 65; I think. It had an brushed aluminum panel with black trim and a little gallery around the top, a door pedal and a drum light. We rarely used the autodry cycle because it over-dried the clothes, but at least it looked better than cheaper models.
I'd go $75.00 for the pair.

I've emailed the seller twice, no response. Can't tell from the pic if the dryer is gas or electric. 4 pushbuttons on it, I'm guessing Hi-Low-Air-Push to Start? And can't see the dial well either, so I don't know the options. Maybe just timer, or would 1964 models have timer-versus-heat systems? I don't really need another electric dryer, but if it's this local..........My 66 GE has a push to start button, whereas my 62 Frigidaire is on as soon as the door is closed. I don't know about this model.
Like I really need another washer or dryer. But local is local...

GE dryers had a start button quite early. I know that Paul's 1957 and 1963 dryers have a start button. Frigidaire added a start button to their dryers in 1966 only...

Likely not a gas dryer; you would see the word "PREMIER" on that panel. GE dryers almost always had a Push To Start button or toggle except for one year, 1961 and only on the top of the line models; they experimented with simplifying the controls for the high-end models. Didn't work well.
