What do folks think about this machine? It is supposed to wash (and presumably rinse and spin) a load in 10 minutes, dry in 20, for a complete wash and dry cycle of 1/2 hour. Using 120v. It does have a dryer vent. Seems impossible to me!

The off center design seems like it would be unsteady, and I couldn’t find anything on the cycle settings. I don’t think they have even built a prototype, but I would like to see it in action! The center post is interesting.

If they don't even have a proven prototype yet, how can they make such claims?

They also show the machine in settings that typically don't have the required plumbing and sanitary line connections.

I don't see this panning out.

Highly unlikely

A 10min wash cycle just can't clean.
Somebody hasn't heard of the most basic thing in cleaning: Time, chemistry, temperature and mechanical action.
If they don't even tumble the clothing, they can't cut time like that.

Further, 10min alone is pretty short for rinsing alone.
And for a proper final spin?
In such a light and small machine?

On drying: 20min is highly unlikely.
I don't think a full size dryer can dry a 6lbs load in that time.

And even the fastest heat pump dryers can't for sure.

So don't see that being possible in any way.

just like the ones before it, this reeks of falsified data and no real prototype. basically, cash grab.

kickstarter/indiegogo should really have a requirement of at the very least a design prototype before starting, it would help prevent this sort of thing.
