Lobster prices. What else?

For our New England friends, have you noticed that the usual special sales of chix lobsters hasn't happened this year? Usually it's during the height of the season, July-ish IIRC, and again for Labor Day weekend. This year the best I've seen between Price Chopper and Stop and Shop (always more expensive anyway) is $9.99/lb. I haven't seen the $4.99 or $5.99 sale at all this year. Other seafood doesn't seem to be having the same issue- in fact IQF shrimp, 31-40 size, are $4.99/lb this week!

 

Anything else you've noticed not going through its cyclical sale routine?

Market Basket had lobsters on sale last week for $6.99 a pound. Best price I have see this year so far.
