Some where around here there is a used timer and thermostat, PCB and a seized up motor and drain pump for one of these machines kicking around. I stripped it down about 7 years ago the tub rusted though.

No, all this sort of stuff in now locked and triple locked and he dose not have a key, nor will he ever have one. The motors on these run relay smooth and fairly quite, the speed module increases the speed gradually on all speeds. Should you keep it and require any of the parts I have I will box them up and send then to you. Can’t guarantee that they still work.

Timer, thermostat, delay timer, pump and the motor has seized and the bloody dog, she had to try the taco wires for dinner.

Forgot the door bowl, mum uses it as a mixing bowl in the kitchen; it has even been used as a casserole dish in the oven.

What an imaculate machine. Any idea of the story behind it. Its got to be one little old lady owner from new lol. Looks like its hardly seen much use.

Does the machine run ok? As for the door boot it looks almost new, in fact most of the machine looks like new. hard to think its 20+ years

That made me chuckle matey, your tale of your dad chucking your beloved washer out will stay with me forever...........the feelings you must have had at the time...........phew!!!!!!! yah know when i was a lad (about 10/11 yrs old) i had constant fight with my parents to let me grow my hair long (just over my ears) coz it was what lads in the early 1970s did where i came from
When ever i went to get it cut i would say to the barber not too much off leave it a bit longer, and every time i would come out of there with a short back and slap!..........i hated getting my hair cut for that.........and of course in later years i found out that my dad just used to ring his mate the barber and tell him to ignore anything i asked for and give me the standard hair cut no matter what..........Parents HUH making bloody decisions for yah :-(

ROB

Well i am amazed by condition........like you i think it is an elderly persons machine......if i get a chance this week i will try it out..........but i have a lot on this coming week and i am still fighting this flu...........plus a certain bloke from up your way is coming to collect it next weekend so I had better polish the silver and get out the posh dinner stuff :-)

Gary you still not got the same flu from when you had your trip to london?
And if its anyone from up our way a bag a chips an a can a coke is better than gettin the silver out infact dont get the silver out just incase achmmmm lol

keep us updated on the machine, if its been dropped of cos it dont work i bet its only something stupid like brushes or the pump.

Gary, my dad also made me have my hair cut, and like you I wanted it longer but he would get granddad to shave it all off, number 2 all over.

Funny thing is in my twenties I went back to the crew cut look, when visiting one day he remarked, I didn’t do it, don’t blow my brains out governor, you look like a gangster.
