Automatic Washer - The world's coolest Washing Machines, Dryers and Dishwashers

Wow!

On two fronts.

First, that lamp's base is terrific. I've never been wild about those fibreglass shades, but that base is ni-yuss.

The fact that it's sitting on a 906 'Tag is just icing on the cake!

Thanks,

Both the dryer and the lamp are daily drivers, but the lamp needs a re-wire, hence the basement, instead of the main floor. Feedback on this artist has been tremendous. I have been scolded to not mess with it, from my NYC designer friends who tell me it is worth a fortune.

The Maytag DG906 is the best dryer I have ever owned in my life. It shuts off exactly when the clothes are dry and still moderates between damp, regular and perm press(which runs hot)
It has new belts and felt seal front and back and is so quiet, only the light going reminds one that it is actually operating. I have owned new Maytag dryers, used Kenmores, a Whirlpool, and never have I seen clothes come out as well and smelling so good as a Halo-of-Heat, and dried in such a short time.

It called to me, but I have a good untrained eye for art.
I can tell a real diamond without a loop, from across the room.

I was collecting Stickley Mission furniture that was thrown to the curb in the early 70's,and Stickley is based here in Syracuse/Manlius.

You just look at something and you know it is good. Perhaps that is the tingle?

Like a good Maytag. Form followed function but the design became fun.

Excellent catch!

Very nice lamp.

Very.

We had a DG502, and it was an excellent dryer. If it weren't a question of room, I would have a Halo-of-Heat in a second. However, I am quite pleased with my Dependable Care dryer.
