Looking for a Maytag Portable Dishwasher made up until about 2000ish..Need it ASAP

I have been hunting like crazy for a Maytag portable dishwasher and can't find a good older one... The couple i did find where beat up or sold... I would perfer one with the rack's reversed but I will be ok wiht the other kind

Am looking around the charlotte nc area or within a 6.5 hour drive (something i can make a day trip out of).....

Looking under $150.00

I have a new Kenmore on layaway in case i can't find something in the next 2 weeks or so, but I really don't want that.. Might consider an older Whirlpool that has the better spray system or an older GE...

None of the cheapo GE's or Whirlpools/Kenmores that have no disposer or anything

Yes, but sadly those aren't what I would like... The Top one is ok, but I am not a fan of those whirlpools, i've lived with them for eons and mehh... If i had too.... The one in asheville got sold

That would be the WP PowerClean system.  Replies #2 & #3 are dishwasher with that. 

 

And then you say

The Reverse Rack Maytags are getting quite rare.  And the PowerClean is quite an awesome design performance wise.

I wont deny the whirlpool ones are good...I just am exhausted of the same units... I really want a mayatag again.. I kick my self because i had a chance for an old hobart/kitchenaid portable in green about a month ago and just wasn't in a place to snab it

LOL, i won't argue again.. Just not what my heart wants... I feel like if im going to settle, i might as well get a new kenmore and be ok with that..I mean 1980's older too... Not really anything newer like the late 90s ones shown

The top one in asheville sold... I did contact the canadian dishwasher sell just a few moments ago, ill check into shipping...

I can get a new WHirlpool built Kenmore for $350.00 with coupons and points delivered.... Thats fairly cheap for new crap...

I really want the charm of the old stuff.... Like a 1980s or early 90s unit.... I really am bored of the Whirlpoool stuff...

Heck I'd even take an old wci portable for fun.. Im a scraper at times for a compost heap

The Roto Rack is cool too.. I remember the neighbor had a portable one in her kitchen as a kid..

I found a 1950's round tub GE portable too, but wasn't sure it would hold up for a load or two a week... Or if it would need restoration work

Having grown up with MOL whirlpool or kenmore variants or basic GE's/hotpoints (the 1 wash arm special) i want something fun again.. Have had a couple 2000ish maytags i put in different rentals and had to leave and miss those

i just discovered Search Tempest for craigslist... Thank you Yogitunes for making me find those two dishwashers... I've emailed them.. I also found a Kitchenaid still listed for $25.. All three have been up for a month or better, so im doubtful there still aeound, but you never know
