Hi everyone,

I'm in the hunt for a 30" wide Dixie or Hot Point gas stove to install in my 1959 Pacemaker double-decker mobile home as the current stove is not original and a newer model. A turquoise one would be a HUGE plus since the kitchen is predominantly that color, with the original Hot Point fridge, countertop and double sink all turquoise blue. If you know of such a stove for sale somewhere, or come across a FS post, please give me a holler! Thanks a bunch and have a great Halloween weekend!

P.S. if it's out of state, as I'm sure it will be, I'm more than happy to arrange shipping through uShip. Thanks again!

Sally, Hotpoint never made a gas stove that early. Occasionally I will see a turquoise Dixie from an old mobile home on line, more than likely requiring major cleaning. Plus a model that old does not have an oven pilot making it illegal in many places as match light ovens are outlawed. The place I am in, now for 22 years had a Dixie 30 inch in white, 4 separate top pilots that never stayed lit and match lit oven that worked fine. My previous relatives got rid of it and put an electric in. Once it was mine, another gas one went in but wish I could still have that Dixie.
