Looks mid Sixties to me but locate the model and serial number and I'm sure it can be dated

Yes, if you can post the model number someone here (gosh, possibly even me... ) can figure out the date of the range.

It's probably from the late 1940s.

This range is from around '52.

Several GE models shared this basic styling. I think this one is a Stratoliner, one model off the TOL; it has the minute timer, but not the salt & pepper shakers. The TOL Liberator was the one with all the goodies.

That had this same range, they bought it in 1951 at Home Electric co in Lenoir NC, the oven is great, you can move the lower unit up to the middle position, and heat only half the oven for everyday baking, saving energy and putting less heat into the kitchen...important in those pre ac days in most homes.

If you will notice..

It has 2 ovens, that makes it a 50 or 51 TOL Liberator, the 52 and 53 had the salt shaker etc...I could be wrong, but I believe thats correct, there is a video on youtube showing the ranges and pushbutton cooking, it could even be a 49.

The range shown is beautiful, and very sturdily constructed as illustrated in the video.

This was the last model produced before production began at Louisville Appliance Park, for the totally restyled '53 line. It was also the first all-new model after WWII, as the '48 models were based on the pre-war line.

I'm not sure, but I think Hotpoint got the pushbutton controls a little before GE did.
