Looks like Pink GE Wall Oven and Range

Automatic Washer - The world's coolest Washing Machines, Dryers and Dishwashers

What's dumb is spending all of that money in 1959 for a beautiful built-in oven like that and scrimping on the glass window door.

For some reason most of the best vintage appliances in the New England area Craigslists come from around Boston. They must be thrifty folks.

We have one :

a very similar Pink GE wall oven circa 1958, in MINT condition with a spare new element. $50 to anyone who wants and will save it! We were going to use it until we found a NOS unused Copper chambers wall oven...! Please reply here if interested, I can't do PM.

Hey Roger,

You must have read my mind!  I am interested in that Pink wall oven!  I KNEW I should've picked it up last summer... LOL

Is it still in the house in VT??

It sure is Paul...

it's still in that shed out back, and I'll save it for you if you want it! Won't be too long now to Spring and the first trip back up North!! I hope to get to Hansen's this year too, I'm interested in the yellow 1-18 and the Poppy set they have...I may have to make that particular trip w/o the wife LOL!... Come on Spring!

Paul... a match for the oven:

there's a SWEET GE Pink Cooktop with push buttons for sale on CL in Spokane WA!! I had a turquoise one sent once from somewhere out there and being that they aren't all that big or heavy it didn't cost too much, around $40, iirc... anyway, you can go to CL in Spokane and search for: "Vintage GE" and it should pop up. (I don't know how to include the link here, being computer retarded.)

Oh, that's tempting, but a tad far away for me...  I was actually going to pair the pink oven with a turquoise cooktop in a future dsiplay in the garage loft (with a GE pull-out dishwasher - a certain 59 Princess that I am working on - to complete the look)!

I can't wait for spring  - It was a lovely drive to your place in VT.

Paul, sounds like a match

made in heaven! If you ever come across a Hotpoint push putton cooktop with the controls in the center between the L and R burners, in the "wrong" color, I have one mint condition in turquoise, minus the burners and controls, that I'd be happy to donate to anyone who can use it! It's been in the basement for years, sacrificed to save a GE, and I can't bear to throw it out! I'll try to post a pic on a new thread.

Push Button Hotpoint!

I remember a house in my hometown that had a 62 Hotpoint stainless cooktop like that, they also had a double wall oven...but here is where it gets wierd!! they had a roll out Westinghouse dishwasher and Westinghouse freezer and refrigerator...all bought new in 62???

Hans,  I believe Westinghouse made the roll-out style of dishwasher into the early 60s, so it is possible it was indeed a 1962 model.

Westinghouse Roll out DWs

I believe that WH was the last US maker of this type machine, and Tom and I do have a white one at the warehouse that is in good working condition. Tow even added extra cabinet insulation when he was using it at his last house. There is a community here in College Park Md. where all the houses came with WH appliances and these Roll Out DWs were in homes that were built as late as 1966. I also have a 1965 builder catolog for WH appls. that still featured these R. O DWs along side the newer style drop door WH machines.
