Lowes to begin sselling a few select Miele

Yeahbut, what's the arrangement for repair service? Does Lowe's have a qualified in-house service fleet? Miele seems known for lack of service presence and/or long waits, especially outside large city/metro areas.
Sales must be flat so they're taking the path they took with their vacuum cleaners.
I wonder if they'll carry stock, or if it'll still be where you order and Miele deliver?

Well if one read the article it would have told you that there are 2 washer models and 1 dryer model. That said, here is the thing about Miele selling thru Lowes or just about any retailer these days...they are backlogged with orders and I have been seeing some chatter about people buying a Miele dishwasher and having to wait close to a year ...you read that correctly...for their appliance to be delivered. Miele says " it will be worth the wait". I think not.
Yes Miele does make a good product , I have their C3 canister vac and the TriFlex cordless vac that I love to use daily. I had a Miele dishwasher that lasted about 10 years before the computer went screwy and Miele parts are not cheap....a new computer would have cost a cool $1200 or so and that is not with tech install mind you. I got a new dishwasher for less. So I doubt that Miele will last that long going thru Lowes in my opinion.

I checked their inventory and am able to get any one of the three models delivered within 2 days. Their top end model #G7176 is almost top of the line with AutoDos, AutoOpen and a water softener for $1849. A similar model at a regular Miele dealer is several hundred dollars more.
You are better off buying the washers from a Miele dealer. The Lowes versions are overpriced for what you get.
