No, the dealer did the demolition and the installation.  They were here about 9 this morning and were finished about 2.  I need to touch up paint (base and shoe) but am happy with the results.

I'm looking around myself.  I have real oak hardwoods from 1956 but I don't want to refinish them AGAIN....this stuff could cover them without causing major damage and a future owner could just take it out and do what they wish to the hardwoods.  I have 4 cats with claws and a 44 year old toddler who spills everything.

I'm actually more intrigued with rubber tile (Johnsonite by Tarkett). We did a mudroom/powder room/stairs with it in Detroit and I really love it. Easy care and looks nice (we used a deep maroon color which harmonizes nicely with the hardwoods). Likely going to use it in any kitchen we do from here on out (lots of color options) including out here in Palm Springs.
