This machine is beautiful!
I am so happy that you were able to get it. I think it it wild that the lady that contacted you, held onto it for so long. Did she say if it was her first automatic washer? I am sure that she is pleased that you have it. It sounds like she really was attached to it. Memories I am sure. Washing her babies clothes in it and such.
I hope that it is a easy fix for you. I know you know these machines inside - out. I just hope that you are able to keep both this one, and your white one working. They are both in such wonderful shape.
What were the issues with the white GE that you have, when you first got it? Also, do you have, or had the matching dryer also to your white one? I thought that I remembered you having the matching dryer for some reason.

What you should do is put the pink tub ring into the turqoise machine so it matches the filter-flo nozzle and agaitator cap
Hi Brent, the White GE had the same spnning during wash activation problem that the turquoise machine has. As for the dryer that was a 1957 model, I sold that last year and it now resides in Kentucky.
