I have a (probably late 1960's) Magic Chef Concept Series gas range. Recently I have had to light a couple of the burners with a match, and I took it apart today to clean the pilot assembly. There is an orifice for each burner with a microscopic hole in it that shoots gas to the pilot to ignite the burner. Long story short I unscrewed each one, cleaned it up and when I was putting it back on, one snapped right off. Right now I have one meant for LP in it for the meantime, (Doesn't work for natural gas that I have.) Where can I get this orifice? It is teeny tiny and screws in. It is not the main orifice, it is a tiny one for lighting the burner.

The full name is Magic Chef "Concept series" automagic cook & keep warm. Model GS3141
In the pictures, you can see the burner assembly. Underneath what I am pointing at is this tiny piece. All this piece does is limit the flow of gas. The stove has a second set for LP gas under the plate. LP gas is twice as much pressure as natural gas, so LP has 1 hole, Natural gas has 2. I am just looking for the tiny part. I can't find any information for a stove this old.

Try and buy an orifice that looks like it. That particular part may be a “standard “ part.

If you are going to nat you can in a pinch drill the hole larger by absolutely minuscule amounts until you get it right. I don’t recommend it but if no other option.....

Thank you Lorainfurniture for the idea! I took a push-pin and made the hole larger in tiny increments until it was large enough to work, while making sure it was very clean. Now all of the burners light on their own, I had given up all hope of not using a lighter. WOOHOO! And thank you customline, I looked around on those sites for a correct fix, but I couldn't find the part. Must be just a Magic chef thing.
