One of our favorite quick drinks to make and when I've got super ripe bananas and no time to do anything with them I slice them up and put them in the freezer. Great for smoothies, or if you're Ralph, fun fruity cocktails!!

Haven't had a chance to type up the recipe yet but will post when I have it - it's pretty simple and can be customized a million different ways.

Looks good!  I'll have to give this a try too.  Don't have a Warring blendor but I do have a vintage Osterizer...

BTW Isn't it about time for the annual cottage stove exchange?  Looking forward to see what you pull out of storage this year.

I'm guessing your Waring is early/mid 60's from the control dial mainly.. I have one from the  50's, plus many more,  and the dial  is very small plus the glass carafe has no handle whatsoever.  I like Warings,, they were much more adventurous in the styling department than Oster ever was.

Made my dinner smoothie before going to work-1 orange, one banana,4 frozen strawberries and one apple. Then some ice cubes.Use the Vita-Mix or Blendtec.I have a Waring "blendor" something likte the one shown-mine is white. These Waring blenders-or was it Blendor still live today as a bar blender.Ony one with a glass jar that is NSF approved.Oh yes have a new Waring bar blender that is like those older ones-same style motor base and same spline drive--NOT the dreaded "wagon wheel" drive Waring uses on other machines today.
