We've always wanted to make these sandwiches that were created by a chef at the Brown Hotel in Louisville, KY back in the 1920's. They contain some of our favorite ingredients: bacon, turkey, tomatoes and a Mornay sauce. How can you go wrong?? I made these in a casserole style for a larger crowd, but they can also be made individually. So rich, so tasty, so good!!

I got the e-mail alert and just watched the vid on youtube. This looks amazing! This would be perfect using my homemade sourdough bread. Might even be good with the cheezy jalapeno bacon bread I made last weekend. Thanks for posting this. BTW - isn't Mornay Sauce one of the four food groups?
