Making iced tea with an electric percolator.

I make Iced Tea in my Automatic Coffee machine.

I run the pot, filter and filter housing through the dishwasher. Brew loose black tea like I would coffee and pour it over a pitcher filled with ice and some lemon slices.

My brew: 7 British Tetley (round) bags and about 8 heaping Tbsp sugar in a 1/2 gallon pitcher. Bring water in the kettle to just before the boil then pour into the pitcher. Let cool, add maybe 1.5oz lemon juice, and refrigerate. I pour it into a large thermal cold mug and add ice before I leave each morning. It fills my mug 3 times, so that's usually 3 days. It's good and strong, and stands up to the melting ice!
