This is a very old recipe. The cookies are kind of cake-like, and they are not super sweet. They go great with coffee or tea! This makes a pretty big batch, so you could easily cut it in half. I read somewhere that both molasses and ginger are good for you, so why not? ;-)

MOTHERS RECIPE

My mom makes molasses cookies, but hers are rolled into balls, and then into sugar and baked. They turn out flatter, less cakey, but also great with coffee, or tea. Great Job Kevin and Ralph.

Oh-Oh MY FAVORITe!!!! Danger of me cooking them is that I eat them just as they are cooked and cooled a little. Before the illness scares-even ate the raw uncooked dough!!!My brother started me on that.Lately just haven't had time to make these-the do well when made in my Advantium-they cook a little faster.also like mine sort of toasted. And hard like dog biscuits-don't like the soft cookies.
