Can't recall much about Marlo's Manhattan apartment kitchen or appliances, however, if your a fan of hers, there is a fun website with lots of neat information. Ted Bessell has several pictures in there too.

In the gallery section, there are audio files of the 3 different theme songs from the shows 6 years on the air. The 5th season theme is quite "hip" considering its 34 years old.

Enjoy.

Thanks for the fun website!

And if any of you come to Las Vegas, you can play on That Girl slot machine. Unfortunately, I have to report, the machine has not been very generous to me!

Thanks Lslie. I loved looking down memory lane. I really liked the show. Ted was my favorite part of the show always. I was sad when he passed away a couple of years ago.

give That Girl a whirl

I also LOVED That Girl, and especially loved the groovy theme song with LYRICS of the final 1970-1971 season.I do remember Ann Marie having a bottom-mount GE refer in her second apartment. Her first apt.was in the 1966-1967( 1st) season only. And in at least one episode, she was vacuuming that second apt.with a Hoover Convertible cleaner.I thought she dressed great, which was sorta funny, since she was a struggling actress on the show who got bit parts here and there.Ted Bessell was a very endearing, and very underrated actor,IMHO.
BTW,one very fun episode had Marlo's family on it.Danny played a priest, thus she called him "Father".Her sister Terry played a nun, thus Ann called her Sister, etc.I wish TV Land would bring it back, hopefully not diced to death of important scenes
as TVLand is notorious for to make room for more commercials.Anyhow a great show

.....Diamonds, Daisies, Snowflakes, THAT GIRL; Chestnuts, Rainbows, Springtime...is THAT GIRL - she's _________________, but luckily for you - - if you find a girl to love, only one girl to love, then she'll be...THAT GIRL too!!

forgot one line of the lyrics. Any help?

I LOVED That Girl!! She was such a dresser, and her hair was wonderful. I had an aunt who graduated high school in 1969. She was head cheerleader, she was "Miss Muleshoe" first-runner-up and Miss Congeniality (Muleshoe was a nearby town) and she had that flip hairdo, minus the cool bangs. Very stylish, I'm tellin' you!

My aunt has held up much better than Marlo Thomas, I'm afraid. Marlo's face has fallen almost off of her head!

The Lyric's for 5th season

Diamonds, Daisies, Snowflakes,
That Girl
Chestnuts, Rainbows, Springtime...
Is That Girl
She's tinsel on a tree...
She's everything that every girl should be!
Sable, Popcorn, White Wine,
That Girl
Gingham, Bluebirds, Broadway...
Is That Girl
She's mine alone, but luckily for you...
If you find a girl to love,
Only one girl to love,
Then she'll be That Girl too...
That Girl!

Ending Theme

Diamonds, daisies, snowflakes,
That Girl
Chestnuts, rainbows, springtime
Is That Girl
She’s mine alone, but luckily for you
If you find a girl to love,
Only one girl to love,
Then she’ll be That Girl too
That Girl!

Family Reunion

One of my favorite episodes was "My Sister's Keeper", when her family was in it together-Father Danny, Sister Terre and Brother Tony.

All of the That Girl theme songs were so uplifting and happy. I thought they were excellant.
