Hey, has anyone ever noticed the avocado green Lady Kenmore set in the back ground on Married....With Children? I wonder what they did with them after the show went off the air. I hope they didn't go to the crusher!

Noticed them from the very first episode I watched back in 1987. I agree with Toggleswitch, that they went to a prop room.

Did that in college. I had connections with the theatre group. Furnished my tenement/slum apt that way!

No washers, however.

beverly hillbillies...maytag pushbutton washer/dial dryer
that 70's show...green maytag set in basement
drew carey......unmatched whirlpools...one episode they switched
grace under fire...maytags off kitchen
rita rock's...maytag in garage...sometimes white, sometimes gold, sometimes washer on right other times washer on left, every episode a little different
everbody love raymond...GE's behind kitchen...and the parents green or brown kenmores off kitchen...

yet you never see them used..maybe on ocassion

Can't Forget...

Home Improvement's 1968 Custom Imperial set in the garage.

The ones on Home Improvement were the "Gold Crown"set made with the window lid on the washer and rapiDry 1000 spin.They were not Custom Imperials.Those had a fully illuminated backsplash/control panel.The Gold Crown models were sort of in between the Imperial and Custom Deluxe as far as features go and only available in washers and dryers.The set on Home Improvement were one of my all time favorites.My Aunt margaret had them and bought that particular set knowing they would make me drewell once I saw them. They both had the "DPC" emblem on them (DPC stould for Durable Press Care)and the Rapidry 1000 insignia.

I always wondered what brand those were on Home Improvement. Thanks for pointing that out. Plus, have you noticed when they show different events to symbolize sexual intercourse going on, such as a rocket taking off, an old oil drill going up and down, and so forth, you can usually catch them showing an old Frigidaire washing maching during agitation also, to symbolize sex lol. I never knew til I joined this site that's what those washers were.
