Has anyone tried Mas Detergent from Henkel? I will be traveling down to the Permian Basin for work tomorrow and was planning to go to Sam's and pick up some more Ariel Liquid detergent while I'm there. I went to Sam's web site this evening and found that they now sell MAS - one variant for colors and one variant for darks. I have only seen this product once before when I was in Mexico a few years ago. I'm not sure about the quality, but apparently it has about 40% of the detergent market in Mexico according to the Henkel web site.
It's interesting how Sam's carries different products for different markets. The only Mexican laundry product our Sam's carries here in Lubbock is Suavitel softener, but if you travel only 2 hours Southwest of here to the Midland/Odessa area, they have a wide range of them. My favorite so far is Ariel liquid, which smells amazing (a nice, clean scent vs. a strong floral scent). I even have some of my friends hooked on Ariel, and we go in search of it at Sam's Club when we travel to places like San Antonio, El Paso and Albuquerque.
I may be significantly adding to my already extensive detergent collection tomorrow, so I thought I'd see if anyone here has used it before I purchase such large bottles of the stuff. I will also stop by a HEB tomorrow, and I'm really hoping to find some Mexican Persil!
