What WERE the engineers thinking?

I got the hostesses to run the Frigidaire. It is BIZARRE to not be able to place a bowl face-down in the bottom rack.

Water issues forth only from the center tube between the racks. Not from below the lower rack however.

Nice pics, Peter! Could you have found any that I don't look drunk or cross-eyed? Geez. But what a great time we had. Toggles, why no pics of you in your rubber band bikini?

Actually Eugene, [from Eugenios- meaning of noble birth] there was a tiny dog there yapping away, is all I can recall.
Maybe someone can fill us in.

The next-door neighbors (Rich's parents) have a little Boston Terrier, Muffin. Muffin was just let out to play in the yard and was barking at us from her side of the fence.

"...your Salesman Sample Youngstown dishwasher it looks like it's mounted to a box with an electric cord and start button on it. Did you mount a water reservoir and pump underneath it?"

Chuck here,

They used a basin of water, and used a turkey baster to prime it.

Here's a theory as to its origins: I think it's actually a store display to show/sell the smaller "Junior" unit as a toy for kids. Notice that it advertizes the Jet Tower Junior, Scale Model Dishwasher? I don't think it would have said that if it was a sample or a store display to show the big unit. Whaddya think??

Chuck--- Thanks for the poolside pic explanation. Oh, and pardon my misidentifying the creator of the delicious-looking sandwich in the basil thread. I think I called it Rich's sandwich.

Bobby--- Get that Frigidaire front-loader hooked up yet?
