Hey,

It was a great time, and Rich and I want to thank all who could make it, and for the delicious food that was brought!

I mentioned at the end of the Save The Date thread that we had a new mascot, since Fung-Wah Doll went MIA, and here he or she is. We need a name though. Suggestions?

By the way, the legs were more upright before, but Bobby thought we should make him or her look like s/he's making dookie squats. Far be it from me to refuse a guest's request!

Myself and John ready to take a dip after breakfast this morning (you left your Frizbee behind!!!). And, how Italian can this place be? Fountains, stonework, and statues everywhere, PLUS a Cinzano umbrella??? WOW!!

Seriously, we had a great time, and hope to see even more people next time. Rich and I are talking about a date later in the summer for another gathering that will be more of an all-day thing, rather than an after Brimfield doo. Stay tuned!

I agree with Chuck. What a great time we had! Arrived Friday night. Helped a little bit getting things set up. Had a wonderful dinner with Chuck & Rich on Friday night. Saturday, Rich, Bobby, and I went to Brimfield Antique Show and then back to Chuck & Rich's for a great afternoon and evening.

Food was excellent and the company even better! It was great meeting new friends and seeing old ones. YOU GUYS ARE THE BEST!

Sunday breakfast was delicious!

Now it's back to the real world on Monday -- yuck!

Hope to see everyone and even some new faces in the near future.

I have several 18th century finds from that show but what about the retro items? Any good finds or sightings?

My gawd I look fat! I can hear Scott in the background saying to me...Ya are Blanche Ya are! Bitch! I had a terrific time meeting everyone and I will definitely be coming to the next soiree. It was like seeing old friends. I am still a virgin Chuck to these things...lol.

Hey All:
Yet another great time with our crazy contingency! It was a blast (just as every other time), with great food, great fun, and the best people. It was such a pleasure to meet Maineman36 (Mike) and Scott. I like the way our little New England group keeps growing. Rich and Chuck were once again the best of hosts, making everyone feel so welcome and providing the best of food and space. We missed those who were unable to come. Hopefully there will be a next time soon! Kudos and thanks to all. I had a great time..... Hey, were we supposed to wash something to make it official????????

Rich & Chuck please update if the bird eggs hatch.

If you weren't here, you don't know what this means. Here's a shot into the trellis area from the back door. Notice the wreath hanging on the first gate?

A pic from above. A robin had laid 4 eggs in the nest, on a gate that we go in and out of all the time! She was pretty friendly, and only flew away when we got within about 5-6' of her. Everyone at the party did a great job of being careful going through the gate, or even going around to the other gate! Mother would come back and sit on the nest when the coast was clear!

Sadly,

when Rich checked the nest this morning, it was empty. There was also evidence that some kind of critter had used props around the area to get to the nest. Not a shred of any of them left. We were really looking forward to having a little family around.......
