Thanks boys! That was a lovely party and as usual, ate too much, talked too much, drank too much coffee and ate too much Country Club eggs!

Oh,                                     Fung wah.

Dropped by Wegman' on the way out, and Chuck, you were right, but I did score a couple of "Kimmelweck" bagels from the bread counter. Beef on Weck tomorrow night. But you didn't tell me you have to drive 5 miles from the entrance to the store. It kind of gets your hopes up. People inside were very nice, and well trained, however. As a friend of mine used to say, I could buy that box of Tide at my local supermarket, but it wouldn't cost as much.

That's it for our pix and vids this time. We both want to thank everyone for great food and great fun as always! We had so much food, I didn't even put the jambalaya on the stove!

The three of us had a wonderful time. Thank you to our hosts!

Oh, the dehumidifier that I picked up at your TS didn't work :(
It had to happen sooner or later.

Once again, another fabulous Wash-In get together at Chuck & Rich's house. It was great to see everyone again, play with some machines, and, of course, eat, eat, and then eat again!!!

Looking forward to seeing you all again soon.

GadgetGary: THANK YOU for hosting us after Massachusetts!

Rich & Chuck: THANK YOU for an amazing weekend with your amazing hospitality.

It was wonderful to see old friends again and to meet some new ones as well!.

And thank you chuck for the black bar that helped me maintain my *COUGH* decency. LOL LOL LOL LOL

WHAT A BLAST!

Transfer Station Find

Hey Jason, sorry to hear your dehumidifier did not work.

I found this one on the first trip to the station. I did a test when we got back to Rick & Chuck's house. It works great! After a few minutes of running, those coils are ice cold. This one draws the moist air in from the back and expels the hot air through the front. Will take interior pics for interested parties, but I can tell you it is a nice big compressor with an FSP label on it:

The Monitor rides again!

Of course, as luck would have it, I tested out my Monitor washer after arriving home last evening, and everything worked fine. Why it decided to act up during the demonstration I can only attribute to the fact it must have gotten car sick on the way up to Chuck and Rich's house.

Next time I take it anywhere, I'll be sure to let it ride with the window open!!

Monitor

That video brings back memories. Where I live now was my families summer place and we had one of those here originally. It did not have a power wringer and I was the one to crank it, mostly for little kids diapers. Eventually the motor died and it was trashed and my grandmothers old Maytag round wringer with red trim and a pump came here and is still here to this day. Unfortunately, she scoured all the labels and decals off.

wonderful party

Had a great time at Chuck and Rich's party. For those who have never been you dont know what you are missing they have a lovely home and a big yard with this kickass pool that I made full use of all afternoon let me tell you.I met toggleswitch Steve first who gave me a tour of the basement and I saw their 1960 GE fridge and Kitchenaid kds 19 dishwasher which were in amazing shape. They had a magnavox predicta tv something I havent seen in many years as well as an early 60s magnavox black and white.I never got to ask them about them though with all that was going on.They may be interested to know I have a state of the art picture tube rejuvenator. One of my favorite things was when Rich showed me his Bendix washer which is just like mine. His in better condition than mine in some ways, dammit.I enjoyed talking to and comparing notes with Ken,a fellow hoarder. The irony of coming here is that I have passed by this house dozens of times in the last 3 years as up until 2 months ago a female friend lived right down the road in Marlboro. We were going to come last year but had another engagement.I would have liked to have stayed longer but had a family obligation. Thanks Chuck and Rich, you boys sure know how to throw a party and you sure have the facility ample parking and all!

We had a FANTASTIC time!!!

Thanks for all the kind words. It was so nice to see some of the same faces that have been supporting the camaraderie over the years. It was just as nice to see some new faces show up. I always worry that we don't have enough "toys" to entice you folks to come and have a good time BUT ya all keep comming!!

The food was fantastic and the conversations flowed like pool water :-) Our 4 non-collector friends wanted me to thank everyone for making them feel so welcome. They had a great time!!

I love looking at all of the pictures. It's hard to believe that it was less than a week ago.

We'll try to have the ABC-O-Matic as well as the Bendix running for the winter get together (Mark, I'll probably need your expert help with the Bendix!!)

Again thanks for making last weekend the success that it was.

Rich & Chuck
