Hey guys so I’m moving on my Maytag 612 top loading washer, it’s free but I won’t deliver, at the moment the only issue is by the looks of it is that the transmission oil has turned to Grease and needs to be replaced but It’s probably beyond My scope of expertise, was working but last time I used it the capacitor blew, probably because of that the oil has really thickened up And I’d much rather give it a good home or to someone who would want to have a bit of a project as I’ll be honest I’ll probably have too many projects of my own here so
It’s yours if you’re willing to pick it up, first come first serve, I’ll attach photos over the next 24 hours and I’ll try and clean it out, but I’ll leave the capacitor in the control panel but disconnected that way you can sort out Replacement with The correct values
If anyone is interested please PM me or we can chat via email, when it was working this machine was an absolute beast for lint collecting, It probably pulled out more lint and hair in comparison to a GE filter flow[I used to clean the filter right after each spin cycle and it was full by the next time that I checked it
