I've changed the belts on the 806 and have a problem with agitation. It speeds up and slows down during agitation, any ideas as to what is causing this?

I cleaned the pulleys. I just ran a small load through it, and it didn't slow down and speed up. The washer was set for suds return when I did the video. I don't know if this had anything to do with the slow down and speeding up or not.

Get a new motor spring and roller/glide kit. If those parts are original, they're LONG overdue for replacement. Part# 205000. The kit is runs about $5.00

There's a extra slot for a 3rd spring, I have on ocassion put a 3rd one on there, is this not advised, sometimes it seemed to slip too much, even after cleaning, for most part worked better...just wondered if I was doing damage to the machine...

tanks for any info....

The belts are fine. The pump belt seemed a little loose, but once I put the front back on and bolted the top back down it tightened up a little but not to tight. I think I will replace the springs and rollers and see what happens.

Dan is this the contents of the kit you are talking about?

Yep. The kit will also come with 2 small tubes of poly lube.

You shouldn't need the 3rd spring. It won't hurt the machine, but it'll probably reduce the life of the motor and transmission belt a little bit.
