Maytag A107

Hi, I just found an extremely expensive ($1,500) fully restored Maytag set for sale nearby that is similar to my A207 set. In Harvest Gold, no less and with a one-year warranty! My question: is the A107 a two-speed? My A207 is only one-speed.

The 107 is a 1-speed FabricMatic type machine.  Your 207 should be 2 speed--the bank of buttons to the immediate right of the timer should have Regular Action and Gentle Action buttons.  On this 107, there's just a "filler" for the space that says Automatic

The seller made a mistake. It should read: $50.00 obo!

Thanks for the info -- and I agree with "joke of the century!" I'd be willing to pay $500, but not another $1K on top of that.
