Hi Everybody.....I have a really nice condition Maytag A207 that needs a caring home. With manuals! It works perfectly, no leaks and pretty nice appearing. Could we arrange an adoption? I will give it to a good home! I'm in the Dallas Fort Worth, TX area. I just will not trash this nice piece of history.

Would Love to Have it

Hello, I would love to have this fine old machine. In fact, I just signed up for this forum so that I could contact you. I'm not an expert in vintage appliances but I am aware of how well built they are when compared to today's machines. So, when I need something, I ALWAYS try to find "vintage" whenever I can. As it happens I do need a washer. And soon.

Here's the hard part... I'm located in NW Arkansas, about 4 or 5 hours away. To make the problem even more interesting I also do not own a truck. So herein lays the question... do you have any clue as to how I could get it up here?

Thanks very much, looking forward to hearing from you.

Kind Regards,
Brian

That's the washer I grew up with! Was replaced by the people who bought my parents apartment with something fancier (because, as we all know, Stainless Steel Makes Things Work Better).

Still looking for a home for this.

Hi Everybody....I still need a good home for this machine. Have an interested person, but he can't take it for 6 months. I can't hold it that long. I have it advertised for a price too, but that is to prevent people from picking it up for scrap. (Not gonna happen)! It's free to enthusiasts and collectors. It's in Dallas, Fort Worth, TX. I will work with shippers if someones wants it shipped. I have used www.uship.com before with good success.

Cheers!

Todd
