Maytag A408

I have been offered a Maytage A408. Can anyone tell me what year this is from and does anyone have any pic's of one?

408 is mid to late 70's. 08 series is the last of the original center dial Maytags.

and would it be easy to find and electric dryer to match?

I still see matching dryers all the time. Price wise, I try not to give more than $40-50.00 for a known working washer that I want. Untested? No more than $5-10.00 Unless it's something very unusual, or special.
