Maytag A412 washer

Hey folks

First post.

I have been renting a house that has an A412 maytag washer. Ser 271876 PC

I am moving and have been offered the washer and a Roper dryer.

both basic units but work very well.

Should I take them?

Im interested mostly in the washer and would like to know more about it if possible.

Take it! They clean heck of a lot better than this new garbage.

The washer was built in February 1985.

A412 is a MOL washer. Some of them are starting to experience bearing problems in the transmission.
