The cold water hose is fine (checked it), but the machine will not accept cold water at all. Hot water cycle runs all the way through; warm water cycle gets stuck on rinse cycle; cold water cycle will not work at all. Took plate off back. There is a blue box where the hot and cold water intake are, which also has some electrical connections on one side. We are thinking this is a valve problem, but we have no idea what to do. Thanks for any suggestions.

Thanks for all the helpful responses. We have checked the screens and they are not plugged. Another thing that leads us to believe that it's a valve is that when you set the machine on hot cycle, it fills faster than when you set it on warm. We haven't tried reversing the connections because we aren't sure of what results to look for (hate to admit that).

The number on the valve is N-51 and there is also a 203177-4. Can't find the number that you posted above, Dan. Thanks again for any additional info.

if you switch the wires, the cold should now work and the hot will not.....remember to put the temp selector on HOT, because you are sending power thru the HOT side, just to test the valve, and set the timer to regular wash.....if it does not work, then its your valve....press COLD selector and you should not get hot water

if it does work then your timer is faulty

just mark your wires so you will know where they go when you replace the valve in the correct order....
