Can someone please tell me the problem which is causing a newly installed A606 to not use the hot water which I can feel coming through the unkinked hot water hose? No matter which button I push, the water is cold. Your insights will be appreciated.
Thank you.

Kinky Wash

If you have used "no flood" hoses it works best to turn the washer on to fill, using the warm setting and then slowly turn the water on to each hose. If that's not it, it's most likely the hot water selenoid that's stuck or the wire leading to it has come loose.

Thank you very much! The hoses are new, so I will check the water valve and prepare to replace it. Thank you especially for the part number and source.

Luck was with me. It turned out that the connectors were slightly corroded. They are now clean, and the washer is working like a champ. I'm in the Bay area.

Does anyone know if there is a similar discussion group for refrigerators of the same vintage?

Welcome to the group Kate. You can discuss refrigerators in the Super Forum. There are quite a few members that have restored vintage refrigerators in the group too.
