Does anyone have any comments about a Maytag a9400? I found one on Craigslist. Are they of the same quality as the A412 that I currently have? Did they have any known problems? About when were they made? Thanks.

In my opinion these are great machines. They are pretty much the same quality as the washer that you currently have. The A9400 washer did have a different transmission than the A412. It had a shorter wash stroke but was still a very dependable transmission. These machines were manufactured in the early 1990's.
