Great Clip!
I never saw that clip before but it was a nice "spin" on a brand that once was great. People I know with the newer Maytag products originally bought them for their reputation but were soon disapointed in their lack of quality. A relative bought a new Centennial last year to replace her 25 year old Fabric-Matic. She has had 4 service calls in the past year on it and swears she will never own another Maytag. Guess "Old Lonely" isnt lonely anymore. Thanks, but I will keep my 1984's going as long as I can.

I will keep using my Frankentag. I did like my WP Cabrio, but I wonder if it will last 30+ years--highly doubtful. Our local Maytag dealer has lots of old Maytag belt drive machines, and I love to go in every now and then just to look them. Most showroom new.

You are right Stan, I can always count on Gram's old Maytay wringer that is older than I am if I had to. Just as quiet running now as new. But my LA511 still runs like new too, and its going on 30 years old now.
