I guess this is based on the Neptune...what should a punter like me expect from the commercial version?

That's an OPL version of the Commercial Neptune:

As is evident by the lack of a coin meter and vault. I would suspect that the cycles run similar to the coin-op machine. I have always gotten good results from them in laundromats.
