A Super Highlander Electronic Control - ironically, the model from the ad in the other ebay auction for the 142/641 yellow set. These must have been popular sellers in their day - I've seen many, many of this faux-dial dryer.

This is the first dryer I ever used----
though ours was DG 502, instead of DE.
It wasn't rapid, most loads were about 45 minutes, but it was trouble free from 1967 to 1982!
I do admit that I wouldn't want one now. It had the dark speckled drum and no drum light. Even though we had decent task lighting in the basement, it was still a basement, and trying to retrieve a dark sock against the dark drum.....
I loved it then, however.
I love my current Dependable Care LDG9808AAE more.
