Ad says built in '59.... definitely not '59, looks like 1962 to me!  I can't read the date code, looks like "JY"??

D-701 had a production run from 1961-1964 (D-701W from 1961-1963).

It used the same sophisticated electronic control and timer combo from the 642C/742C that ran from 1960-1961.

Pretty sure it was made in '63.

After zooming in, the date code looks like it's "LY" to me. Which would make it 1963.
