I have a Maytag Dependable Care inherited from my grandmother. Can one of you in the know tell me from the model number the age and capacity? It's LAT0205AAE.

According to the "AE" date code the machine was made in March of 2002. Hope this helps.

Oops I thought this was the serial number, please disregard the above post. To get the age of the washer you need to post the serial number.
