I’ve seen people just pull bumbles out of thin air like that seller and expect people to be lined up to buy it. Also seen people post classic cars with very low prices but when I read the fine print, was much higher. If people want to sell their stuff, then they need to be serious and thorough about it. A price with $1,234 sounds dubious to me.
1234 ... probably a random price to enter something there if not free.

I agree with Glenn’s reply. The description says best offer. The dryer was built in August 1979.
