Hi guys

I noticed this Norgetag on ebay Australia and if you zoom in on the control panel, there's a 'Max Extract' option.

Can anybody explain this to me? I was sure the maximum spin speed for these machines is 620rpm, so i'm assuming with the option pressed, you get either a longer spin time OR is it that on the 'Gentle' cycle you get a gentle wash and normal (620rpm) spin? (in place of any separate wash/spin speed combinations?)

What interested me about this machine is 'Ensignia' was never used on any Australian literature. I have the MAV7600 Atlantis that I got for only AU$50.00 which looks very similar.

Cheers
Leon

Someone once posted all of the wash and spin times for this exact machine with and without super wash and max extract. I'm not sure what thread though. I'll try and find it for you.

Max Extract

On our Atlantis max extract extended spin time with out any additional spray rinse. I could never tell a meaningful difference in dampness when using this option. The Ensignia had knobs rather than buttons and a taller more sculpted back splash. The Ensignia was also one of the later non Herrin machines than had more issues with seals and transmissions than the Atlantis.

Kelly, I LOVE seeing you post again!

Just HAD to say that... LOL!

You also pegged it. The Max Extract button would be labeled 'Extended Spin' on other consoles for this NorgeTag platform. I am not sure but I want to say that it might modify the spin speed, taking it to the full spin speed on the P/P and delicate cycles but I'm not sure on that. IIRC, the Ensignia label was Home Depot's nameplate for the most part. Then you also saw AmanaTag machines slinking into Home Depot under the same nameplate.
