Does anyone out there know the correct size hole to drill in the poly-pump "stub" that you attached the bleach dispenser hose to? My A806/0 got a new pump somewhere along the line and whomever replaced the pump never reattached the bleach dispenser hose.

mine was like that too if you look in the center of the stub the is an indent just drill that out it leaves enough to attach the hose and still be able to suck the fluid in

Ignored Response

This question and many more were answered for you in a post from two or three weeks ago (post 34781), plus much more volunteered information that you either missed or just seemed to ignore. If you ignored it, I find it very rude and inconsiderate.

I think someone else answered your question about the bleach hole and I composed a long response to your thread also. It took most of my evening. You didn't say, "Thank you", "Go soak your head", "Go jump in a lake", or anything.

Maybe you think I don't know what I'm talking about, but I do! I've spent a tremendous amount of time studying these machines.

Good luck with your....device.

Spurned and Unappreciated

Brian, thank you for acting in the spirit of this forum and sharing what you have learned with all of us. I remember when I first joined the club and how annoying it is to wait for a brash newcomber like myself to realize everyone here already knew everything I had to say and share. I got a few scraped knees and elbows and shed a tear or two but hung on until I could learn the ropes and temper my input. I doubt very much that this slight was intentional or in any way meant to diminish your gesture of goodwill. Give him time to get his feet wet and become comfortable with the searcholator, re-reading posts and easing into a long and comfortable sojourn here with us all. I have offered help, input and even hard goods with the best of intentions. Sometimes they are ignored but I must believe I gave them with them up as gifts and gestures of geberousity and not with any expectations. Lets re visit this in a couple weeks and see how it settles in before drawing lines now that are harder to blur later on. I hear you Brian and do understand. Good luck to us all in this one.

WOW

I guess I now need to take a few moments to justify my actions and responses to my new friends here on this discussion board.

Mr. Beekeyknee, I can see that my lack of personal response to your posts has offended you. You did offer me a lot of advice, let me publicly thank you for taking the time and effort.

As to this current request about drilling out the stub on the poly pump for the bleach hose, QSD-Dan wrote (in post 518036):

"Yes. Actually, the pre-FSP pumps had the diameter drill bit to use right on the package. I forget what the exact drill bit diameter is at this moment, but 5/16 keeps popping into my head."

I would hope you could understand why I didn't take that answer as definitive. So, I asked again.

Both John and Ben (in a private message) provided the definite answer I needed.

My experience here has been that everyone here has useful advice and experience to share.
