I was reading an article in Popular Mechanics magazine about this machine that copies parts "exactly".

Apparently Jay Leno used it with great success in manufacturing antique-automobile engine parts that are NLA.

IIRC it x-rays/scans the part and notes thousands of dimensions, somehow creating a mold of the wanted part.
There are some limitations but I beleve it works with plastics and metals, and will only work with (orignial) parts made of one material.

This should be the same video I saw a couple months ago about this 3D scanner and 3D printer, which was VERY interesting!

This could be used to re-engineer the oil and water bellows for Frigidaires, as well as seals, bearings, and a host of other NLA parts. It could be a good investment!
