Maytag Ironer

Well looky here.... Looks to be in nice shape. Always wanted one of these. But, alas, I don't the room for one these monsters. I remember a neighbours from when I was a kid. Always intrigued me.

Heavens, they're talking serious money and did not even put a new cover on the roller.

That is serious money! I saw a newer version of a Maytag ironer at the Goodwill "Last Chance Warehouse" yesterday for $1.97. The later versions were similar in design to the Ironrite, with the shoe below the roll.
