Maytag LA108 fabric matic washer (snubber ring?)

I have torn down the above washer, cleaned and installed new damper pads. However, does this unit have a snubber ring that should be replaced below the brake assembly/main pulley area? I have purchased one online, but I cannot tell if it is actually part of the assembly? Is there an assembly parts diagram available. I am stumped?

No snubber ring, just the aluminum damper riding on top of the damper pads with silicone grease.

It appears the parts breakdown on these older machines are beginning to disappear. Here's an a112 which utilizes the same exact design.

My "torn down" comment only refers to the complete cabinet disassembly only. This allowed me to clean all interior components and assess the overall condition. Obviously, now I know that it was not really necessary, but now I know. Thank you for your post. Rick
