Maytag LA710

Maytag LA710 washer, manufacture date July 1983. Any significance to LA710 versus A710? This has been stored since 2010. I would consider selling to someone who would pick up in Peachtree City, Georgia.

A= white LA= Almond.

Judging by the rusted out water valve mounting plate, there's probably some serious corrosion lurking inside.

It’s not a bad idea if you’re trying to sell a machine like this to take a picture with the front off and also a picture underneath the bottom of the machine so you can show whether it’s got oil leaking problems damper problems etc.

The rust near the inlet valve may have just been from a drippy hose and may not be of much consequence.

Also if you can get the agitator off take a picture under the agitator of the agitator shaft
