I have a Maytag MVW7232HW0 washer (serial CA0902144) that is very loud when spinning, not sure what it is or why it’s so loud, I don’t know much about washing machines and I’m only here for appliance repair help.

Because most people on here are washer enthusiasts or technicians who should know about my issue.

Also, how old is my washer, that’s what I’m wondering too. When spinning it’s really loud (like a jet engine taking off in my laundry room) during the spin cycle. As it gets up to speed it’ll get louder.

It doesn’t have any bad vibrations.

Your washer has bad main bearings likely the water seal failed and water got into the bearings, the machine is around four or five years old.

It’s an expensive repair, the water seal fails, and then moisture gets into the bearings. It’s far more likely that the water seal will fail if you’re using too little detergent and/or have very hard water.

Your washer was manufactured in March, 2021 according to the serial number, also your washer probably has bad bearings.

On your model you’ll need to change the transmission (part number W11449841).
