haier genesis

hmm that one caught my eye im kind of happy that now theres more chioce in this genre of washer! bravo, cabrio, genesis, harmony, and oasis. I really like this idea of topload without a central agitator hope LG brings there's to the US regardless of GE deal with the harmony! really innovative appliances i want one!!!!! ;P

Yeah, that's dumb that LG is only marketing it in Europe amongst the Front-Loaders. But the Genesis machine is a lot like the LG Top-Loader.

Wow! The Equator Corp. Washer/Dryer combo! The world's first Top-Loading washer dryer combo! Could someone please give a link to that on Equator's web-site.

"The world's first Top-Loading washer dryer combo!&

No dear, that is not the world's first. We already have them for decades overhere in Europe. Especially the French seem to like toploading combo's. In the past Thomson-Brandt, AEG, Bosch and Siemens, Miele and many other brands sold them. Nowadays Brandt and some other French brands seem to be the most important sellers of these combo's.

But do those provide one-touch operation and the ability to self-diagnose problems and order repair service? Because the Cobra can!

The new Generation 2 units which are coming out soon can. They will connect to the internet via Bluetooth.

I've always thought that this style of washing was kind of strange, yet interesting. I wonder how effective it really is in comparison to conventional front loaders?

Were the Maytag versions of this machine reliable? They seem so rare...

Wrong Thread?

I think I may have bumped the wrong thread. I thought Haier prototyped a top loading washer/dryer combo. My memory is a little fuzzy, though.

It's funny how all the breakthroughs Maytag came up with, are now standard today, and it still killed them....
(I'm not editorializing, just musing)
