Maytag Performa Dishwasher

Someone will pick it up for a rental property, it's in reasonably good condition. My mother had a similar d/w in her new home, built in '03. Shortly after they ran it the first time, I pulled it out and insulated it all around. Helped some, but at the end of a peninsula in an open living room, dining, kitchen space, it did little good. Within 2 years, the racks were rusting and we pitched it.

it has some light "rack rot" like I call it. Its only on the upper rack right front first 2 cross bars

I thought I remembered seeing some Jennair units with this interior before they took the stainless tub Jetcleans and made them Jennairs.

Contiuned poor performance

After several washes the Performa continues to not perform. It is yet to get an entire load of dishes clean!!!! It took two trips through the dishwasher to get still moist cake mix off the bottom of my kitchen aid mixing bowl. Soo ready for this thing to leave my kitchen.

I had one of these in a portable for a very short time (got it to repair and resell) and it seemed to perform just fine. Nothing spectacular, but definitely adequate. Sounds like you may have something wrong with yours if it can't remove cake batter.
