Maytag performa strange noise on spin

I posted a few months back about my washer making a strange winding down sound during spin and nobody seemed to know what it was. I found this video of the same sound on youtube only it sounds a little more advanced than mine: wondering if its a transmission issue?

Well, the video you posted doesn't support your assertion.

Well no I don't lose sleep over it lol

Its just a Maytag performa, though I like these machines they are far from my favorite so I wouldn't be too upset if it broke I just hate lugging on major appliances and I like this one because it has a very large capacity and is also super quiet. No clunk clunk clunk clunk clunk every half a second like the Inglis direct drive I once had

I suggest you take a video of your actual machine doing it's thing and when you hear it make the sound that concerns you, point it out.
