I'm having a hard time locating some poly lube and wondering if anyone can tell me of a readily available alternative. It can't be that magic of a lubricant, perhaps there is a hardware store substance that is similar enough?
Thank you,Rob

Go To:

A bicycle shop or sporting-goods store that carries bike supplies and ask for Park Poly-Lube. Bike owners use it.

A big tube is about ten bucks. I got mine at Scheel's Sporting Goods here in Waterloo.

Thanks, that came up in the searches but I didn't know if it was similar in composition or just had the same name.I'll give it a try.

Works Fine!

I don't see or feel a difference between the Park stuff and what comes in the little pouches included with a Maytag damper kit.

BTW, if you're wanting this to lube Maytag dampers, the damper pad kit should come with three little pouches of the stuff - one for each pad.

It looks to me as though thread 50735 only has 19 replies.
